Extra Life - CGG Cares 2025 Painting Contest

Extra Life 2025 Contest:

Unlike our monthly painting contest, there is no specific theme for this contest, let your creativity run wild!

Purchase any single mini at Common Ground Games and paint it HOWEVER YOU WANT!

Choose any miniature (no size restrictions) and let the friendly Librarian at the register know that you're signing up for the contest.

All submissions will be due by NOON on Saturday, April 19!

The winner will be determined by an in-person charity donation-based vote with submissions being featured at our Extra Life charity event, CGG Cares 2025!

Prizes for this event include $100 Store Credit to the winner of the vote on April 19th, and additional prizes for contestants that were generously donated by hobby painting companies!

General Rules:

Paint any one miniature however you want to the best of your ability!
Additional sculptural and basing elements are allowed this time. Try to bring the focus to the painting of the main miniature, but get creative!
Feel free to make a display plinth/base to go with your miniature, but don't go too overboard. (Please don't make a diorama, try to keep to roughly the same base size. No electronics/lighting, or extra miniatures.)
Painters may only enter one miniature for the contest. (Swarms, or other grouping as "one miniature" are acceptable as long as they belong on a single base from the same kit.)
Miniatures must be purchased from CGG between March 18 - April 19 to enter. Please keep the packaging for verification and easy recognition of the mini.
