Age of Sigmar Seraphon: Stegadon (Engine of the Gods)
Stegadons are hulking herd-creatures, bred by the Seraphon as beasts of burden. When ridden to war by a party of skinks, a charging Stegadon becomes nothing less than a living battering ram. Its crushing bulk and sharpened horns can smash aside even the most determined defenders, while its skink riders shower those below with javelins and arcane weaponry.
Stegadon Chiefs are among the most favoured and able skink servants of the priesthood, permitted to ride upon an ancient stegadon – hulking herd-creatures, bred by the Seraphon as beasts of burden. These skilled warriors are charged with commanding linebreaker assaults and leading a constellation’s warbeasts from atop their stomping mount.
An Engine of the Gods is only activated in the most dire of circumstances, at the careful command of a Slann Starmaster. Borne to battle atop a steadfast elder stegadon – hulking herd-creatures, bred by the Seraphon as beasts of burden – the power unleashed by these arcane devices is strange and unpredictable, but always deadly to the enemies of the Seraphon.
This multipart plastic kit builds a Stegadon, a reptilian war-beast crewed by skink warriors. This stubborn beast is covered in armoured scales, and carries your choice of celestial weapons – either a skystreak bow that fires powerful bolts, or a pair of sunfire throwers that unleash bursts of celestial flame. Its howdah carries five skinks who can be armed with a variety of weapons and positioned however you choose.
In addition to the skink riders and their armoury, the kit includes loads of ways to customise your Stegadon. There's a choice of different clubbed tails, armoured crests, horns, heads with open or closed mouths, and two pairs of banners, plus various accessories to decorate the howdah.
This kit can alternatively build a Stegadon Chief or an Engine of the Gods.
This kit comprises 113 plastic components, and comes with a Citadel 120x92mm Oval Base. This miniature is supplied unpainted and requires assembly – we recommend using Citadel Plastic Glue and Citadel Colour paints.
