Tuesday Night Commander

Register for one of our weekly Commander events!!

About this experience

Join us at Common Ground Games for some Commander! Participants are put into pods by our judge, and entered into a raffle. Even if you don't win a prize (every pod has a winner), every player leaves with a promo!

The biggest challenge of a Commander event is making sure that players are in groups with a similar power level. When you sign up to play in a commander event at CGG, you can let us know how competitive you want to be! In general we use this breakdown:

Precon/Chill: If this is your first time playing in a store, and you aren't very confident, or if you just dont want to be super competitive, this is the place for you!

Mid Level: This is where the majority of players fall. Players use heavily modified precon decks, or their own creations.

High Level: Players who want to tune and polish their decks will have a good time here. Decks will often do lots of searching, and synergies are high.

Competitive/CEDH: These folks are out for blood. Competitive pods dont participate in the regular raffle, but instead are offered store credit for winning their first game, based on the size of the pod.

If you have any questions about power level, we recommend showing up a little early and talking to the judge running the event.

If you would like to make requests about playing with specific people, please put that into the notes section, or check with the judge when you arrive for the event.

If you are not at the event on time, you may be removed from the event and refunded.

You can still pay for entry by purchasing $16.50 in sealed MTG product, but you will have to do that in person, at the register.
